I love the look of macrame and knots so I thought it would be fun to create this unique wall hanging that looks like the popular macrame wall hangings for the June 2021 issue of Crochet World. You can purchase an instant digital download of this magazine here. Click here to see some more photos of the pretty summery designs inside!
In my project, the Stitch Sampler Wall Hanging, I mixed up 4 different stitches with 4 different colors. The stitches include a mesh stitch, cable stitch and 2 textured stitches. Because of the cable stitching, this is an intermediate project but all the other stitches are easy.

I will be giving a short tutorial on one of the textured stitches – the Puff stitch – on Annie’s Facebook Page here at 12pm ET on Friday May 28th – come watch live (or on the replay) and learn how to enter a giveaway to win the magazine and 5 skeins of yarn (see photo below) so you can make your own Stitch Sampler Wall Hanging!
(Giveaway ends midnight June 2nd)
This project is crocheted with Sinfonia by Omega – this is one of my most favorite yarns! It is 100% cotton and comes in so many beautiful and bright colors. It gives you great stitch definition and blocks really well. Click here to purchase.
I hope to ‘see’ you during the live tutorial! Happy crocheting!
