This is one of my favorite crochet Mother’s Day gifts to make – it works up fast and looks so pretty with the 2 intertwining hearts. This project is also fun to make in the recipient’s favorite colors that results in many pretty variations.

Micro Granny Square Necklace

This was my first attempt at “micro crochet” and it was a good experience! I love my mini-granny squares that fit nicely over a small round pebble I found at the beach. I recommend excellent lighting and good glasses when working on this project. Again, there are so many color combination possibilities that can make your necklace beautiful!

If you don’t have one of those stores near you, there are many similar options on-line and in other local craft stores. I think these are one of my quickest jewelry patterns to make and can be embellished with faceted beads or sparkly gems!

Many moms love flowers and would love to wear this pretty bracelet. I designed this piece of crochet jewelry to be able to change out the flower easily by the way the bracelet closures work. This way mom can wear a different flower to go with different outfits!

I think butterflies are one of the most beautiful creatures and I enjoy seeing them in the summer. They are a great symbol of hope and life – perfect for mom! If you find working with the tiny Size 10 cotton crochet thread challenging, then this is a good project for you to practice with – it uses the slightly thicker Size 3 cotton crochet thread.

Here’s a good gift for a mom who loves to knit, crochet or sew!
