Crochet Scrubbie Pattern
Crochet Scrubbies are easy to make and very practical in the kitchen. Scrubbies are abrasive little washcloths that fit in the palm of your hand that help you clean your dishes, pots and pans. This crochet scrubbie pattern works up very fast and uses only basic crochet stitches. The key to making this crochet scrubbie is the special “scrubbie yarn” that I used. I really enjoyed working with this yarn that is meant for these washcloths – it is bulky and has a lot of texture in it but not so much that it hurts your hands while you crochet with it.
Celtic Knot Scrubbie
When I saw the colors this yarn came in I immediately had to buy the pretty green, orange and white to make an Irish-inspired scrubbie! I decided to combine a Trinity knot with a simple circle for this Celtic Knot Scrubbie. I love how this crochet scrubbie pattern turned out and love how it is useful, too. I think it would make a great housewarming gift since everyone has to clean dishes!

3 colors of bulky (Size 5) “scrubbie” yarn (1 skein per color will make several scrubbies)

Printout of Knot Diagram (download diagram here) – Left-hander diagram is found here
Corkboard or foam core board (1/4” thick and about 8” square)
