Crochet Kitchen Towel Pattern

Crochet Kitchen Towels are easy to crochet and practical to have especially if they have a button closure on top like this one! This crochet kitchen towel pattern has a hanger that lets you hang it on your oven handle or a cabinet door handle to have close by while you clean up in the kitchen.

Oven Towel with a Celtic Knot!

This crochet oven towel is unique in that it has a Celtic Knot added to the bottom. The Celtic Knot is made with 3 different cords crocheted with simple stitches and dishcloth cotton yarn. The body of the towel is crocheted with basic stitches – single crochet, double crochet and chains – and works up fast.

Celtic Knot Towel Pattern

This crochet kitchen towel pattern is now available in my Etsy shop here. Inside the large-print instructions you will have 20 color photos to help you weave the Celtic Knot and crochet the other steps of the project. The instructions for this crochet kitchen towel also come with a full-size color-coded Celtic Knot Diagram that is an essential tool for weaving the decorative knot. I’ve also included a special diagram for “Left-Handers” so left-handed crocheters don’t have to flip the diagram in their head and get all turned around as they try to weave the knot. 🙂

Crochet Kitchen Towel = a Great Gift

I made my kitchen towel in shades of blue and white but you can make yours in any color. I highly recommend having the edging for each of the cords of the knot be in a contrasting color from the main color of the cords. Having these contrasting colors next to each other really helps the design of the Celtic Knot stand out. I think anything you use in the kitchen can make a great gift for friends or family because almost everyone uses a kitchen every day and needs to clean up from cooking! So, add this crochet kitchen towel pattern to your list of gifts-to-make!
