Crochet Christmas Garland

Crochet Garlands are fun to see hanging amongst your home decor and even more fun to make! This Crochet Christmas Garland is easy to crochet and has a unique Celtic flair with the Celtic Knots making up each tree motif.

Since Christmas is coming up so soon, you may not have time to make this Christmas garland before Christmas but you would probably have time to make just one of the tree motifs. One Celtic Christmas tree motif would make a perfect crochet Christmas ornament! I love to give ornaments as gifts especially one as unique as this one.

Celtic Christmas Garland

And NEW! to this pattern is a separate diagram just for Left-Handers! You’ll see it as an additional PDF when you download the pattern. This will help all left-handers weave the knot in the opposite direction – no more guessing or trying to flip things around in your head. I’ve already done the work for you. 🙂

The 10-page instructions are in a large clear font and include several color photos to help you be successful with this crochet pattern.

Supplies:

This crochet pattern uses a small amount of Size 3 yarn. I crocheted with Sinfonia by Omega in 2 shades of green. Then I used some metallic red cotton crochet thread to make the star. If you look closely, I added some red sequins to each star and even used some hot glue to join everything together – that makes the project work up even faster!

Skill Level and Measurements:

I would rate this crochet garland pattern as an Easy project because you only use basic crochet stitches (slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet). Each tree is about 5″ tall and 4″ wide (at the base).
