Crochet Hat

Black, white and gray easy crochet hat with 2 pom-poms on a white wooden background

Easy Crochet Hat

This easy crochet hat uses simple stitches and beautiful color-changing yarn. A long time ago one of my daughters had a cute knitted hat that had 2 pom-poms – She looked adorable in it and ever since then I have been wanting to create a crochet pattern/version of the hat. I love how the 2 pom-poms look like ears – doesn’t it look so cute from the back, too?

Stitches Used in this Easy Crochet Hat Pattern

So, I used a very simple stitch pattern that looks really pretty with the color changing yarn. This easy crochet hat is lightweight and perfect for fall, late winter and early spring. Of course, you can make the hat with just one pom-pom, but I think it looks best with two!

Skill Level: Easy

Size:

Teen to Adult

**UPDATE: Instructions for child size hat are included below – Fits a child ages 2-5**

Child Hat = 8 1/2″ long; 16-17″ around at ribbed edging (with a good amount of stretch)
