Pumpkin Garland

Festive Pumpkin Garland

Hello! Welcome to Celtic Knot Crochet!

I LOVE fall – I love the cool crisp air and dry sunny days. I love the colorful leaves and how they look when you stand next to a tree trunk under the branches. I love to watch the little animals getting ready for winter and I love the sound of the fallen leaves as you walk through them in your yard.

Do you like fall like me? It is a special time of year with pumpkins all around!

So, I created this easy Pumpkin Garland for the Oct. 2021 issue of Crochet World.

Each pumpkin is stitched with basic crochet stitches and worked in the round to achieve the pumpkin shape.

Yarn!

I crocheted with the lovely Sinfonia yarn – if you visited my blog before, you know that it is one of my favorite yarns. For this project it shows the stitches very well and comes in such beautiful shades of yellow and orange!

  1. I love the pumpkin garland. The different sizes and shapes make it so much more interesting to crochet. I love the celtic knot pattern. It is so beautiful. Can’t wait to crochet one of my own.

  2. Thanks for making the fall pumpkin garland. As a relatively new crocheter, I hadn’t heard of sinfonia yarn but it really looks lovely. It makes for a great definition in the pumpkins and comes in great fall colors. Never been to the website but I’ll be sure to return – such special pretty designs!

  3. This garland is so adorable. I love the fall colors you used. I’ve never used this yarn before, it looks so lovely worked up. I live in New England and Fall is my favorite season. Thank you for this giveaway!

  4. Hi. I’ve watched your tutorials on Annie’s on Facebook. I ‘m so glad to have found your blog, youtube, Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram links. I love your patterns and you. It is such a pleasure to follow along with you on your posts. I look forward to making crochet covers for some rocks at my local lake here in the Cherokee Forest in NE TN. I love the look of the cotton yarn in your projects. I hope to win. TY for all you do and share.

  5. You introduced me to Sinfonia yarn in another of you tutorials-the rose purse – and I have fallen in love with it. I look forward to more videos!!!

  6. This issue is the first I’ve received after subscribing to Crochet World recently. I handed it to my daughter and asked her if there was anything in it she would like me to make her. Your pumpkin garland is the pattern she picked. I’m looking forward to making it for her when I finish my current project.

    1. That is so neat! Thanks for sharing that story – glad to hear your daughter likes the garland 🙂 Have fun crocheting it for her!
