Mandala Wall Art

Welcome to Celtic Knot Crochet!

Are you here for the Annie’s Facebook Live Yarn Giveaway?

So glad you popped over for a visit!

As you may already know, I LOVE to crochet mandalas! (You can see all of my mandala projects here)

This project only has 10 rounds and uses tall stitches and some cluster stitches that really stand out once the mandala is stretched across a metal ring.

This mandala project was one of my first mandala designs I created for a magazine and it is still one of my favorites.

Yarn Giveaway!

Speaking of “favorites” – this yarn, Sinfonia, is also one of my favorites and that is what we’ll be giving away this week!

Just leave a comment below by Tues. Aug 31st when a winner will be randomly selected. Be checking your email next week to see if you’re the winner of 5 skeins in colors of your choice so you can make this mandala project.

Oh, and the winner will also get a digital copy of the Special Issue, “Easy Breezy Crochet Lace”, where the Mandala Wall Art pattern is found. (Click here for more info about the magazine)

(Please note this giveaway is open to continental US residents only)

If you would like to read my reasons for loving the wonderful Sinfonia yarn by Omega (which you can purchase here), check out this blog post.

Thank you to James at Creative Yarn Source for sponsoring this giveaway!

  1. The colors are lovely, but I have never used this type of yarn. Would love to win it. Thank you for the opportunity to do so.

  2. Beautiful colors! I hope to make one of your patterns soon. I think they would make great gifts too!
Thank you for all your tutorials.

  3. I love your mandala wall art! I recently got into making doilies and i didn’t realize that mandalas were the modern version. I will definitely be getting this pattern if I’m not the lucky one!

  4. I love to crochet and I’m still learning and your tutorials are the easiest I’ve watched yet! This was the first time I’ve heard of the mandala! It’s gorgeous! I’m so excited to try this!!! I would also love to try and make the necklace you were wearing! My daughters would love if I made them one! I made my first crochet blankets for them this past Christmas! They love when I make them anything! I am enjoying crocheting, embroidery and also wanting to learn how to make quilts! Thank you so much! ☺️

  5. I loved your tutorial. The mandala is beautiful. I always wondered how to get them on the rings. Looks so easy! I’ve always wanted to try making a mandala. I would love to start with this one. 😃

      1. I love the Mandala-wall-art beautiful. I have been crocheting for 48 years now my grandma taught me when I was 9. I have been collecting patterns for mandala projects but I have never been able to find the rings. Thank you for letting us know to look where the macrame supplies are, I never thought if that. Enjoy your Facebook live.
        Thanks for sharing

  6. Love the colors you chose as well as the design! I’m also loving your yarn bowl idea- I plan on replicating the bowl idea 🙂 …is it Ceramic for weight?

    1. Thank you! The “yarn bowl” is actually a melamine bowl from a discount store – not very heavy but heavy enough that the small balls of yarn do well inside. But you could do the same idea with a ceramic bowl. 😊

  7. Oh my! So many colors to choose from! Thanks for the great tutorial and the giveaway. Best of luck to everyone!

  8. Beautiful mandala! I love the colors that was used. Thank you for such beautiful crochet. I like as I have Irish blood from my Celtic Grandmother who was raised in Belfast N.I.

  9. Thank you for another wonderful tutorial and giveaway. Just to be transparent, I will let everyone know that I won the giveaway last month. I made 4 beautiful placemats with the Sinfonia yarn. The tutorial was a purse and I plan to make that soon but I just asked to be surprised with yarn color and it was perfect for needed kitchen placemats!! Good luck everyone on this month’s giveaway!!! Thank you for everything Jennifer!

    1. You are welcome, Sue! Thank you for commenting again and sharing about what you made with your winnings 🙂

  10. I love trying new yarns. This yarn is new to me. I love mandalas too! Long time doily crocheter here! Thanks for great videos! 💕

  11. I enjoyed watching you explain new ways of crocheting. This project was something that I was looking for in a very long time. By watching you it looks so simple. Thank You for your help! Sincerely, Shirley Bublitz

  12. I enjoyed your Facebook live video today! I have done clusters before, but not as part of a Mandala. The main reason I watched to day was to see how you attaced the Mandala to the ring. I was glad you used a larger yarn/thread to demenstrate. It was a lot easier to see how you were doing the stitches. I have seen you blog before, but it has been quite a while ago. I have bookmarked it so I can find it again later. Thanks again for today’s Facebook live video.

    1. So glad to hear you enjoyed it! Thank you for visiting again – I suggest subscribing to our newsletter (link above under “Get Access”) so you get notified of all the new patterns and projects. 🙂

  13. Beautiful. I have seen these before but never tried to make. Would love to try one for my wall. Your instructions seem easy to follow. Will have to try one.

    1. Thank you! The instructions are easy to follow and if you have a question about any of them, feel free to email me – always happy to help 🙂

  14. I enjoyed watching your video today. Very informative. I’m going to try to do a mandala wall hanging. I crochet Afghans a lot.

  15. Thank you for the beautiful Mandala giveaway. I would love to make one, as I have never made one before. I love seeing all the beautiful textures of all the different stitches in your tutorial, so pretty.

    1. Thank you! You should definitely try making a mandala – this one works up really quickly and is fun to make 🙂

  16. Hello! I’m enjoying your live tutorial on Annie’s while on a break at work. I’ll have to come back and re-watch later. 🙂 I love the mandala. I’ve never made one, but I have wanted to for a very long time. I’ll have to get the pattern if I don’t win it. Thank you so much!

    1. Glad you had a little time during a break 🙂 Mandalas are really fun to make – I think you’ll like it.
