I’ve always been drawn to anything red, white and blue. It is probably because my birthday is around July 4th and here in the US, we always decorate houses, stores and towns in the patriotic colors. I associate the red, white and blue with wonderful carefree summer memories, birthday celebrations with my family and the freedom and blessings we have in America.
I thought it would be fun to create this Patriotic Party Banner using plarn, my 10mm Clover crochet hook and a few simple granny-square-like stitches.
My banner is made up of 5 triangles but you can make yours out of more and totally different colors for a unique and festive party decoration.
