I love the look of macrame and knots so I thought it would be fun to create this unique wall hanging that looks like the popular macrame wall hangings for the June 2021 issue of Crochet World. You can purchase an instant digital download of this magazine here. Click here to see some more photos of the pretty summery designs inside!

In my project, the Stitch Sampler Wall Hanging, I mixed up 4 different stitches with 4 different colors. The stitches include a mesh stitch, cable stitch and 2 textured stitches. Because of the cable stitching, this is an intermediate project but all the other stitches are easy.

    1. I may do a video tutorial on my Youtube channel for the cable stitch – be on the lookout 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

  1. My favorite stitch is the single crochet stitch. I have made picture name blankets for all my grandchildren in single crochet, usually with a graph I have created myself.

    1. That is impressive! I love the single crochet stitch, too – can be used for so many projects 🙂

      1. HELP!!!! I am so stuck on this stitch. I’ve been working on the wall hanging using the Crochet World magazine. Did you ever do a tutorial? I cannot figure it out!

        1. Hi! I am sorry to hear you are stuck on one of the stitches. I have not done a tutorial on the entire project. I did do a short Facebook video on this project here: https://www.facebook.com/AnniesCraftStore/videos/234073858054376
But if this video doesn’t help you with your questions, please email me and I am happy to help you with it. There are several stitches in this project so please include which one you need help with. 🙂

          1. I’m sorry! I should have been more clear. I was referring to the yellow cable stitch specifically.

          2. Hi – at this time I do not have a tutorial for it but I will consider posting one to my Youtube Channel in the near future. 🙂

  2. I really like the puff and the mesh stitch. I don’t think I’ve ever done the mesh stitch but am excited to try it. This sample would make craft Christmas gifts. I really enjoyed your tutorial. It is very helpful to watch you crochet it.

    1. So glad to hear my tutorial was helpful to you. The mesh stitch is an easy stitch. I love your Christmas gift idea. Happy crocheting 🙂

  3. Looking to make a few crocheted wall hangings and i absolutely love this idea. Love the puff stich and the cable stitch. Such great work. Love it all. I am like a little kid in a candy store. So excited!!

  7. Love the dark blue Puff stitch.
And love watching your live video.
Have a safe and blessed weekend

  8. I love all the stitches but the puff stitch is my favorite! Will try to make this in shades of pink and white 😀

  9. I absolutely love the cables!!! The mesh is a beautiful contrast to all the solid and textured parts, too but cables are my favorite. 💜

  10. I like the cable stitch but the mesh stitch is the one I want to see now.
Love the colors of the wall hanging.

  11. I love the color ways of this wall hanging but especially like the dark blue puff stitch because of the look of the actual stitch and also how that shade plays off against the colors around it.
