Celtic Crochet Cowl

Introducing the Celtic Crochet Cowl – a crochet pattern PDF now available in our Etsy shop here. This crochet cowl features a beautiful Celtic Knot front and center with a textured stitch to frame it. The stitches are very simple and each step of the project is clearly explained in the 14 page instructions. I love how it turned out with these colors and look forward to wearing it all throughout the month of March and beyond!

Stitches Used in the Celtic Crochet Cowl:

To make this project you will need to know the basic crochet stitches: Chain, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch, and treble crochet. I used stitches of varying heights to create the pretty shapes in the Celtic Knot design. Then for the length that goes around your neck I used a textured stitch that is a one-row repeat! This is one of my favorite stitches and moves along quickly once you get the hang of it.

Yarn for the Celtic Crochet Cowl:

I crocheted this crochet cowl with Lion Brand’s “Jeans” yarn. I love the color of the classic denim colorway but I thought the green was really pretty, too. This yarn is very soft and has little specks in it that give it the denim look. I highly recommend this yarn – it feels wonderful up against your neck!
