Did you know March is National Crochet Month? As if we needed a new excuse to crochet every day? 😉

This month Crochetville is heading up a blog tour that includes designers, hobbyists and teachers all crochet-related.

I’ve already enjoyed reading some of the ‘backstories’ of the designers whose work I appreciate and see on the internet or in publications.

For example, I loved the story behind why Carolyn named her crochet business, The Purple Poncho. I love the photo of Lisa Ferrel’s Texas Bluebonnet Shawl and hearing about which animal pattern of hers is famous. And did you know that Sarah Thompson started designing clergy stoles first? So much ‘behind-the-scenes’ info to learn about each of the people in the blog tour – it’s like watching the “Special Features” of your favorite movie!
