Crochetville Blog Tour 2020

Did you know March is National Crochet Month? As if we needed a new excuse to crochet every day? 😉

This month Crochetville is heading up a blog tour that includes designers, hobbyists and teachers all crochet-related.

Head on over to their website here to check it all out. Many of the designers featured there are offering all kinds of sweet deals on their patterns for the month of March – be quick so you don’t miss out.

In addition to some great discounts each participant is also sharing their memories of crochet – their earliest memories, how they became a designer, most memorable experiences and more. I’ve already enjoyed reading some of the ‘backstories’ of the designers whose work I appreciate and see on the internet or in publications.

For example, I loved the story behind why Carolyn named her crochet business, The Purple Poncho. I love the photo of Lisa Ferrel’s Texas Bluebonnet Shawl and hearing about which animal pattern of hers is famous. And did you know that Sarah Thompson started designing clergy stoles first? So much ‘behind-the-scenes’ info to learn about each of the people in the blog tour – it’s like watching the “Special Features” of your favorite movie!

And guess what? My day is today – March 11th! So, if you’d like to hear about some of my crochet memories and learn some ‘behind-the-scenes’ info about me, head on over to Crochetville.

While there you’ll see that I have just come out with 2 NEW patterns – The Celtic Shamrock Shawl Pin and The Spring Scallop Shawlette.

Visit the Crochetville post to get the discount code!

I LOVE how the shawlette turned out and the Celtic Shamrock Shawl Pin is part of a special collaboration I’ll share with you here later this week!

How are you going to celebrate National Crochet Month? Leave your answer in the comments below – I’d love to hear what you are going to do.

Thanks for stopping by!
